Water Found in 50 and 100 Year Time Capsules

LETHBRIDGE: The city and Galt Museum have opened the 50 and 100-year time capsules, which were put underground 26-years ago.

They made the decision after opening the 25-year capsule last year to find extensive water damage.

Both the 50 and 100 also suffered water damage and the contents have been frozen in the hopes of saving some of the material.

The city and Galt Museum will work to identify the contents and contact the intended recipients of envelopes as they figure it out.
