Suspect Enters Guilty Plea in Connection with Magrath School Lockdowns

LETHBRIDGE: 18-year old Trevor Bevers has entered a guilty plea to a charge of possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace.

March 21st all Magrath schools went into lockdown, after a student left in an emotional state talking about getting a gun.

Bevers was arrested on a rural road outside of Magrath by the RCMP, who found a firearm in his possession.

He'll return to court October 18th for sentencing.
