Three Years Jail for Footprint-Foiled Robber

LETHBRIDGE: A Lethbridge man was sentenced to three years in jail for robbing a local cabbie at knifepoint. Mark Moroney, 46, pleaded guilty to armed robbery and wearing a disguise while committing an offence. Moroney wore a knitted face mask when he got into a cab last January and ordered the driver to give him all his money. The driver gave him $200 and called police - who followed his fresh footprints in the snow to find him.
