North-side Home Damaged In Fire

LETHBRIDGE: Fire investigators are looking into a north-side house fire that caused $130-thousand damage Thursday afternoon.

A smoke detector in the home on Honeysuckle Road alerted an alarm company just before 3-pm. Ten firefighters from two stations responded and found the house filled with smoke and a fire in the basement. They had the situation mopped-up just before 7-pm

No injuries or official cause but, Fire Prevention officials remind smokers to completely stub out cigarettes and dispose of them safely.
