RCMP Looking For Witnesses After Assault Reported

TABER/VAUXHALL - RCMP are looking for information and suspects after an assault complaint on Highway 36.

A caller phoned police around 8:00pm Saturday night and said a woman with long brown hair was laying on the ground being punched by a man, North of the Old Dutch Potato Plant and South of the Oldman River.

An older model truck was seen facing North and a van was pulling up as the complainant passed the scene.

Witnesses are asked to call RCMP or Crimestoppers.
