Bail Granted to Accused in Robbery Case

LETHBRIDGE: A 34-year old Lethbridge man has been released on $1,000 cash bail after being arrested Thursday on a robbery charge.

Jamie Hona Pickett is accused of going into a north side liquor store August 24th, claiming to have a gun and demanding cash. An undisclosed amount of money was handed over and the male fled on a mountain bike.

Regional Police made the arrest after a city resident recognized a security photo posted in the media and contacted them.

Pickett will be back in court September 30th.
