Police Issue First Distracted Driving Tickets

 
 

LETHBRIDGE: The first day of Alberta's new distracted driving law led to several tickets locally. On Thursday, police gave out 16 tickets for talking on hand held cell phones. Officers say they will continue to use "discretion" when it comes to enforcement.
