One Week Adjournment Set in Child Luring and Child Porn Case in Taber
TABER: The child luring and child pornography case against 42-year old Curtis David Paradee has been set over for one week.
An agent appeared on his behalf in Taber court Tuesday morning, stating that they need until September 13th.
The former Chairman of the Taber Police Commission is accused of posing as a teenage boy, as he communicated with a 15-year old girl in the New York area. It's also alleged that he was accessing child pornography online.
The US Department of Homeland Security contacted Canadian officials back in 2010, reporting that a young female in the New York area was involved in a relationship with a Taber man through various social media.
After an extensive investigation, Paradee was arrested and charged May 31st, 2011.
