NOBLEFORD: The Village of Nobleford continues to expand, with an announcement earlier this week that a new industrial subdivision is being developed.
24 lots ranging in size from 1.2 to 2.1 acres will go on sale next Tuesday in a community that's already doubled in size since 2004.
Chief Administrative Officer Kirk Hofman noted that long term planning and investment in services like water, sewer and roadways has now given them the freedom to focus on things like commercial development.
Hofman added that as the community has grown, property taxes have been steadily going down. He stated that property taxes in Nobleford are now half of what they were in 2006, and he feels it's a major factor in drawing people and business into the village.
