How To Import Goods Into Canada 101 -- Seminars Courtesy Of Canada Border Services

LETHBRIDGE:   If you're planning to import a vehicle or commercial goods for the first time from the U-S or another country, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) is hosting free seminars on how to do it legally.

This is the first time the sessions are being held in Lethbridge.  Information sent to the media each month by CBSA, indicates the seminars are probably a good idea, given the number of fines handed out at border crossings, to those who illegally import goods. In some cases, importers are trying to cheat the system but, in other cases, it's a matter of people not understanding the rules.

The seminar explains the rules and regulations relevant to importing commercial goods into Canada; whereas the vehicle importation seminar explains  the process for importing new and used vehicles into Canada.

Participants are advised to register by calling 403-292-4167, or visiting: http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/events-evenements/ab/

Time: 9:30am – 11:30am
