LETHBRIDGE:   Regional police dealt with a fight involving a B-B gun outside the College residences about 11:20 Tuesday night. During an argument, a 20-year old man who didn't live at the residence pulled out the pistol and pointed it at another man. David Jamenez of the city faces assault with as weapon and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public.

Earlier in the evening, a head-on collision on Crowsnest Trail at 30th street at about 6:30 resulted in charges.  A westbound pickup crossed the centre line and collided with an eastbound truck. There were no major injuries, but  63-year old Laurie Twedt will be in court November 2nd to answer three-charges for impaired and dangerous driving.

Also on Tuesday, investigations into drug trafficking resulted in two separate arrests.  Michael Robert Jabs, 26, of Lethbridge, faces two counts of trafficking and possession, after he tried to  make a deal with an undercover officer.  It involved 209-ecstasy pills, as well as 6.5 grams of MDMA and 3-grams of MDA with a street value of $5,100.00.

In the other incident, a 26-year old city woman, Sara Cheyenne Allison, was also charged with trafficking and possession after a Community Policing  investigation into suspicious drug activity in the 1700-block of 6th avenue north. The search of a home turned up drugs and paraphernalia.
