Car Prowlings Are On The Rise

LETHBRIDGE - Regional Police are warning residents about a recent batch of car prowlings.

Overnight on Sunday, officers responded to a report that four men on bicycles were checking car door handles in the 1800 block of 23rd Avenue North.  The men were gone when police arrived.  There was no forced entry on any of the vehicles.

Police continue to receive reports of a number of thefts from vehicles in the overnight hours, so they're reminding you to lock your vehicles and remove all valuable items.
