Doctor Shortage Means Emergency Care Only in Milk River Wednesday

MILK RIVER: The Emergency department in Milk River will be shut down Wednesday from 8-am to 5-pm, as no doctors are available during that stretch.

Emergency Medical Services, which includes a paradmedic, will be there to handle any emergency cases.

For less urgent medical situations Milk River residents are asked to drive to Raymond or Lethbridge.

For 24-hour medical advice from a registered nurse you can call 1-866-408-5465.
