Flu Immunization Clinics Begin Monday, October 17th

LETHBRIDGE: This year's flu immunization program begins October 17th across Alberta, with vaccine available for free, to all Albertans aged six-months or older.

Flu strains change every year and this year's vaccine will include some new strains expected to be circulating. As well, seniors 65 years or older or who have chronic conditions will be able to get a vaccine against an organism that can cause pneumonia. You must bring your provincial Health Care card with you.

You can see a detailed list of clinic times and locations at http://www.albertahealthservices.ca/influenza.asp  or by calling Health Link Alberta, toll-free at 1-866-408-LINK (5465).
