Suspected Serial Killer Spent Time In Lethbridge

PRINCE GEORGE: There is a Lethbridge connection to an alleged serial killer behind bars in Prince George, B.C.

After a 10-month investigation, RCMP have connected the deaths of four women to Cody Alan Legebokoff.  The 21-year old is already in prison awaiting trial for the first-degree murder of 15-year-old Loren Leslie.

On Monday, Legebokoff was charged in the deaths of 23-year-old Natasha Montgomery,  35-year old Jill Stuchenko and 35-year old Cynthia Maas. Stuchenko's body was found in a Prince George gravel pit in October 2009. The body of Maas was located near L.C. Gunn Park, also in Prince George, in October 2010. Montgomery's body has not been found. She was reported missing from the Prince George area in August 2010.

Police believe the suspect acted alone and investigators are looking for witnesses and additional victims.  He was a heavy user of social media and used the on-line name 1CountryBoy.

Legebokoff lived in Lethbridge from 2008 to 2009.  If you have any information that may help the police, you're asked to call a special tip line that's been set up for this case at 1-877-987-8477.
