Taber Police Make Arrests Related To Drug Trafficking

TABER:   A drug trafficking investigation by Taber Police wrapped up with a couple of arrests on Sunday.

The investigation revolved around trafficking activity that impacted both Taber and Lethbridge.  27-year old Stanley Coop and 20-year old Ashleigh Zdyb, both of Lethbridge, were arrested Sunday evening in Nanton.  They were in a vehicle where about 10-ounces of cocaine was found.

Both men were charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking. Coop made his first court appearance in Taber on Tuesday.  Dzyb will be in court November first.
