Accused in Fatal Stabbing Case Released on Bail

LETHBRIDGE: 54-year old James Karl Bach was released on bail Wednesday morning on manslaughter charges.

It's in connection with a fatal stabbing in Lethbridge August 2nd, when an alleged verbal confrontation between Bach and 29-year old Brent Good-Dagger turned violent.

Judge Jerry Legrandeur stated that he does not think Bach is a threat to society, adding that he also does't believe Bach will run, saying "we don't punish people before they're convicted".

Bach returns to court December 1st.
