Oldman Watershed Council Looking for Your Feedback

LETHBRIDGE: A new plan from the Oldman Watershed Council hopes to take action on watershed issues in the region.

The group's outlined eight goals to achieve over the long term.

The first is focussed around educating the public and getting people involved in helping to protect the Oldman watershed. Other major priorities include ensuring rivers and creeks have enough water to function, learning more about groundwater, and protecting the headwaters.

They have also prepared framework to help guide the process of dealing with watershed issues.

You can learn more at the Lethbridge information session set for Tuesday from 2 to 8-PM at the Royal Canadian Legion. There will be two presentations at 3 and 6.

You can also learn more by visiting www.oldmanbasin.org.
