Charge Laid In Tuesday's Fatal Collision Near Monarch

 
 
LETHBRIDGE:   RCMP have laid a charge in that fatal crash on a rural intersection near Monarch Tuesday morning.

 The incident happened about 7:25, at the intersection of Township Road 10-2 and Range Road 24-0 near Monarch.
A Volkswagen Rabbit driven by a 33-year old woman from Monarch, was north-bound on the Range Road, when it collided with a west-bound Ford Explorer driven by a 29-year old man from Vulcan. The man died at the scene.

Johanna Veenendal of Monarch, has been charged with failing to yield the right-of-way, under the Traffic Safety Act.
