Red Nose Could See Record Number Of Rides This Year

LETHBRIDGE:  The U-of-L Operation Red Nose is on-pace for record numbers this season.

Over the past weekend, the third for its operation this holiday season, 217-volunteers gave 402 safe rides to party goers.  That's 87-rides ahead of the same time last year.

An increase in calls means they need more volunteers to meet demand. To get involved you can call Pronghorn Athletics at 403-329-2681.

While the Operation Red Nose service is free, those using it can make a donation, with all of the proceeds going towards Pronghorn teams at the University of Lethbridge.

Operation Red Nose continues to  run December 15, 16, 17 and 31, from 9:30-PM to 3:00-AM.

For a ride on any of those dates you can call 403-320-4155.
