Funeral Arrangements Made And Memorials Planned For Victims Of Murder-Suicide
LETHBRIDGE: As we move toward the Christmas weekend, a time to celebrate a birth and hope - it will, instead, be a week filled with grief for
several families as they plan funerals for three young people gunned down
in the murder-suicide near Claresholm last Thursday.
The first funeral, will be for 21 year old Tabitha Stepple of
Lethbridge. It's slated for one o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Evangelical Free
Church. Funerals for Mitch McLean and Tanner Craswell will be held in their
hometowns of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island on Thursday and Friday. About
16 members of area baseball groups including the Vauxhall and Prairie Baseball
Academies and the Lethbridge Bulls are heading to the Island for the services.
The Lethbridge College, where the young men were enrolled and the
Lethbridge Bulls, the team they played for over the summer, are planning joint
memorials for sometime in mid-January.
There will be a private family funeral for Derek Jensen.

of the attack, Shayna Conway, remains in a Calgary hospital recovering from
On Saturday, as RCMP spokesman Sgt. Patrick Webb released the findings of
their investigation into the murder-suicide, he said there would be no further
investigation and "There are no charges laid.”
