Memorial Pays Tribute To Claresholm Murder Victims

LETHBRIDGE - Hundreds came to the Enmax Centre Saturday to grieve the loss and celebrate the lives of three young people shot in a murder-suicide before Christmas.

While funerals for victims Tabitha Stepple, Tanner Craswell and Mitch MacLean were over weeks ago, the southern Alberta baseball community organized this tribute in Lethbridge for the public.

Lone survivor in the shooting Shayna Conway was there.  She prepared a video statement ahead of time.

The Lethbridge Bulls also retired the numbers 6 and 13, which Maclean and Craswell wore as players last summer.

Craswell, MacLean and Stepple were all in their early twenties when they were shot by Stepple's jealous ex-boyfriend Derek Jensen, who then killed himself.
