LETHBRIDGE:   Fire crews were called to a couple grass fires along Highway-3 near the over-pass just west of Lethbridge and another along Highway-25 into West Lethbridge.

Fire crews will remain there for another 2-3 hrs to manage hotspots

The fires were called in about 10:30 with the first one located near the overpass, just west of Lethbridge. The fires spread quickly by the wind. Blowing smoke caused reduced visibility along the roads.

With the dry conditions and gusting winds, you are reminded to be cautious and do not toss cigarette butts on the ground.
