Shooting Range Officials Set To Pitch Relocation Plans

LETHBRIDGE - Officials with the Fish and Game Shooting Range will be back before members of City Council next week to pitch relocation plans.

They'll be looking for funding support in the upcoming capital budget to move outside of the City limits.

This presentation was planned before it was determined that a bullet from the range struck a northside home in February.

Since that finding, the person who fired the shot and the range officer who was supposed to be supervising have had their range memberships terminated and the range where the shot originated from also remains closed to see if anything else can be done to make it safer.
