TABER: Southern Alberta has tallied a second train-vehicle collision in two weeks.
The latest incident happened about 2:30 Monday afternoon. A 19-year old
Taber man was operating a tractor pulling a flatbed trailer, on Range Road 18-1
west of the Village of Barnwell.
The north-bound tractor was struck by an
eastbound train causing extensive damage to the tractor. The train sustained
minor damage.

attended the scene. Fortunately, no one was injured in the collision.
RCMP remind all users of the roadway to use caution as they approach
railway crossings.
On March 4th, a train crashed into the tail end of a tractor trailer which
was crossing the rail line just off the intersection of 28th Street South along
Crowsnest Trail in Lethbridge.
