Thank You from Family Pet Hospital And Last Chance Cat Ranch
LETHBRIDGE: The Family Pet Hospital issued a media release Thursday with follow-up
information on the aftermath of the Last Chance Cat Ranch Fire, which happened
on March 5th.
The pet hospital confirmed that all the burned cats brought to the hospital
for care and treatment after the fire have survived. Most have gone to foster
families already and the last 10 cats are now ready to be fostered.
In a
direct quote from the news released, "Family Pet Hospital would like to take
this opportunity to thank all the donators of funds and products for the care
and treatment of the cats. A lot of help came from the local community, other
Southern Alberta communities, and also from far away including cat lovers in
Saskatchewan, Manitoba, British Colombia and even Ontario. The donations are
greatly appreciated. Thank you!"
The Family Pet Hospital will be handing over the balance of donations
received, plus a donation from the Family Pet Hospital, to the Last Chance Cat
Ranch for the ongoing care and treatment of the fire-burnt victim
cats.
Good quality foster homes are needed that can care for the last 10
cats for the next six months or more.
Please contact the Family Pet Hospital
Centre at 403-320-5200 and/or the Last Chance Cat Ranch at
403-715-2287.
"Thank you all for your spirit of
helping".
