North Side House Fire Causes $30,000 Damage

LETHBRIDGE:  About fifteen fire fighters from three stations responded to a house fire on Kodiak Crescent North Friday afternoon.

A neighbor called 911 just before 12:30, stating there was a kitchen fire and that smoke and flames were visible.

Fire crews extinguished the fire, which caused minimal smoke and heat damage to the interior, however, there was still about $30,000.00 damage. No one was home at the time of the fire.

Fire Investigators have completed the investigation and deemed the fire accidental. Residents are reminded to ensure that all cooking appliances are turned off prior to leaving their homes.
