Officers Cycle To Raise Funds For The Special Olympics

Lethbridge: Members of the Lethbridge Regional Police Service, Lethbridge Public Safety Communications Centre and Lethbridge Correctional Centre are cycling for a good cause, on April 6th.

Stationary bikes will be set up in Park Place Mall near SportChek where the teams of officers will be riding from the mall's open at 10 AM until its close at 6 PM. All of the money raised will go towards the Special Olympics. Bikes will also be set up for Special Olympians who will take turns riding along side the police, dispatchers and corrections officers.

Last year, the event raised $4,000. This years goal is to meet or exceed that amount.

Donations can be made by contacting constable Blaine Stodolka with the LRPS at 403-330-5020 or blaine.stodolka@lrps.ca.
