Trial Date Set in 2012 Nightclub Shooting

LETHBRIDGE: A trial date has been set for three men facing attempted murder charges, in connection with a shooting at a downtown nightclub last year.

April 6th of 2012 three individuals went into the establishment along the 200 block of 5th Street South around 2:30-AM, shot a 30-year old victim at close range, then fired several shots into the air when staff tried to keep them from leaving.

The victim had to be airlifted to a Calgary hospital where he was stabilized.

Regional Police arrested the three suspects later that day at a local hotel.

Rage Hassan Islow, Abdirahman Moha Islow and Yaqoub Mahad Ali go to trial October 28th.
