Suspicious Activity Draws Attention To Taber Men Accused Of Possessing Cocaine
TABER: Two men known to Taber Police were arrested Friday, April 12th and face a
string of charges.
An officer became suspicious of a vehicle being driven in a manner to evade
police detection. After an investigation, a passenger in the the vehicle was
found in possession of cocaine. A short while later, the vehicle driver was
located. Both men were arrested.
The driver of the vehicle, 25-year old Travis Meier of Taber, was at large on
charges of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, was in breach
of release conditions and was allegedly in possession of a prohibited weapon.
