The Accelerate SOUTH50 event is for entrepreneurs, those who are
starting up a business and people in business who want to expand.

their business idea with a patent application for example, or it could be how do
I take my business beyond our borders, expanding in the U.S, Mexico, Brazil and
Germany for example."
As part of the event, Economic Development Lethbridge will host a luncheon
that will demonstrate how data and information can be valuable to effective
business planning and decision making. CEO Cheryl Dick says "the whole purpose
is to help you get that vision of where do you need to go, where is the current
challenge or opportunity and how am I going to find what I need in order to be
able to really move this ahead as quickly as possible."
The event takes place on May 1st at the Coast Hotel.
