Two Men Arrested After Couple is Attacked in West Side Park

 
 

LETHBRIDGE: Two Standoff men are facing charges after an incident in a west side park Thursday night.

 

Around 8:40 a couple walking through Rutgers Park were confronted by two unknown males. They ignored them and tried to continue walking at which point the two men became aggressive. One of the suspects shoved and struck the male victim and even used a smashed bottle to attack them while the other threatened the couple.

 

The female ran from the scene and called police, who eventually caught up with the two suspects and arrested them a short distance away.

 

19-year old Samuel Kenton Williams is charged with assault with a weapon and two counts of uttering threats. 24-year old Ryan Neil Williams is charged with assault and two counts of uttering threats.
