Fire Department Asking Residents To Prepare For Emergencies

Lethbridge: Emergency Preparedness Week kicks off, Sunday. From May 5-11 residents are asked by the City of Lethbridge Fire Department to ensure they are prepared in case of an emergency.

They say residents should be self-sufficient for 72 hours . It is suggested to create a 72 hour kit. The Fire department says no one knows when distaster will strike, but we can be prepared with the necessary items until emergency service responders can reach you.
