AMA Hosts Shredding Event To Collect For Interfaith Food Bank
Lethbridge:AMA is hosting a free shredding event to benefit Interfaith Food Bank, Saturday, May 11th.
AMA staff, Lethbridge Regional Police and Lethbridge mobile shredding have partnered
together for the event, allowing each individual to shred up to 6 boxes of
personal documents. Police are on hand to share tips on preventing identity theft.
AMA says the wait time at the shredding site should be a minimum of 30 minutes. The event will be outdoors and upon arrival, participants are asked to bring their boxes towards the shredding truck. Assistance will be available if needed. Anyone shredding documents or information stored on items, such as CD-ROMs and diskettes must stay until their items have been shredded to ensure they have been securely destroyed.
The shredding event runs from 10 AM until 2 PM at AMA on Scenic Drive. The service is free, but participants are asked to bring a non-perishable
food item for the food bank.
