21-Year-Old Standoff Woman Charged With Assault Causing Bodily Harm

 
 

LETHBRIDGE - A 21-year-old Standoff woman has been charged in connection with an assault that occurred early Friday morning.

 

On May 10th, Police were called just before 4am to a report that a man had been assaulted and was lying on the road in the 800 block of 4th Street South.

 

A 25-year-old man was taken to hospital for head and face injuries.

 

An investigation led police to a female suspect who was later found at a nearby apartment building where she had broken into.

 

Vanessa Spear Chief was arrested without incident and charged with assault causing bodily harm and housebreaking with intent. She will appear in court on May 22nd.
