Lethbridge Bulls Looking To Make Spitz Stadium Multi-Event Facility

Lethbridge: The Lethbridge Bulls recently announced the family-friendly events they have planned, this season.

They'll be kicking-off the baseball year, with their annual Tanner Craswell and Mitch Maclean Memorial Game, on May 29th. The Bulls will take on Vauxhall Baseball Academy with all proceeds going to the Tanner Craswell and Mitch Maclean Memorial Fund. Tickets will be available through Spitz Stadium.

On June 1st, fans are invited to Little League Day. Fans can support future baseball stars as they learn from the Lethbridge Bulls. The Bulls take on the Okotoks Dawgs after participating in different activities with the "little leaguers".

For the first time, the Bulls will host the Lethbridge Grandslam Baseball Festival. The 3-day event will have a fan fest, baseball movies at Spitz Stadium, a behind-the-scenes tour of the stadium, pancake breakfasts, and a skills competition.

Also for the first time, Spitz stadium will host a concert series. On July 6th, local bands will be performing all evening starting at 5 PM with Aaron Pritchett headlining at 10 PM. Three concert series are planned at Spitz Stadium throughout the season. Tickets will be available through Spitz Stadium.

"We want to put as many events on that are supported by the Community. If the stadium can be used everyday from May 1st to the end of September, early October, that's our goal. Having concerts there and festivals and other events in the coming years, just shows that the investment that the City puts into the facility is well worth it." said Bulls General Manager, Kevin Kvame.

The bulls first official game of the season is May 31st against the Medicine Hat Mavericks. For more information on any of the events, visit www.bullsbaseball.com.
