Blood Tribe Police Charge School Bus Driver in Standoff with Impaired Driving

LETHBRIDGE: A school bus driver in Standoff has been charged with impaired driving and refusing to provide a breath sample.

Just before 8 o'clock Wednesday morning Blood Tribe Police were called about a possible impaired driver operating a school bus in the community. Police found the bus, which had 12 children on it, and took Larry Cross Child into custody.

The children were taken to school on another school bus.

Cross Child, who was later released, will make his first court appearance July 29th in Cardston.
