Charge Laid In Two Vehicle Collision On Mayor Magrath Drive

 
 

LETHBRIDGE:  ***Up-Date

 

One person was charged as the result of a south-side collision Monday morning.

 

The two vehicle crash happened just after 8:00 on Mayor Magrath Drive at 9th Avenue, near Nika Yuko Gardens.

 

According to Regional Police, a Dodge Journey was south-bound along Mayor Magrath and turned east onto 9 Avenue South, where the vehicle collided with a north-bound Dodge Caravan. 

 

The force of impact left the car on its side.

 

The driver of both vehicles, a 31-year-old female and a 40-year-old female, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

 

The 31-year-old female driver of the Journey was charged with turning left unsafely. The charge has a $115 penalty.
