LETHBRIDGE: Attempting to cash stolen cheques has lead to charges for two city men.
On Thursday, one of the men attempted to pass a cheque at a cheque cashing
business on third avenue south. However, staff knew the cheque was one that had
been stolen and called police, who arrested two men.
29-year old Osagie Ehimenen Omon-Anolu, is charged with possession of stolen
property under $5,000, uttering a forged document and attempted fraud. He made
an initial court appearance on Friday.
49-year old James Charles Olsen will be in court August 28th, to face fraud
under $5,000 and use a forged document.
