Gas King Makes Donation To Red Cross

LETHBRIDGE - Gas King donated almost $3,400 to the Canadian Red Cross for southern Alberta flood relief on Friday.

The cash came from a campaign they ran last Friday, where 4 cents from every litre of fuel sold went to the fundraiser.

Natasha Fairweather with the Lethbridge branch of the Red Cross says this money will be going towards immediate direct relief but also long term recovery.

She adds the response to this disaster has been incredible with people from Lethbridge and southern Alberta volunteering their time and making cash donations.
