Youth Dragonboating Program Begins This Week

LETHBRIDGE - The Youth Dragonboating Program begins on Wednesday at Henderson Lake.

The goal is to introduce youth to the sport of dragonboating, which is one of the fastest growing team sports in the world. It will cover things like dryland basics, the stroke and water safety, dragonboat history and cultural connections.

The free program will run every second Wednesday from 6:30 to 8pm.

Youth between the ages of 11 and 17 are welcome to attend, you just have to register by contacting Becky at littlebeckya@hotmail.com or through the link on the Dragonboat Association of Southern Alberta facebook page.
