LETHBRIDGE: The Rotaract Club at the University of Lethbridge is trying to boost their profile in the community, as they work to raise money for both local and international causes.
Club member Royal Adkin stated that their last major fundraising effort was focussed on building a school in South Sudan, and that over the last two years they were able to bring in the $30,000 needed for the project.
Adkin noted that over the last 10-years they've raised over $250,000 for charitable initiatives all over the map. He added that this year they would like to help flood victims throughout Southern Alberta.
