City Man Charged With Impaired Driving After Hitting Police Car

LETHBRIDGE: Hitting an unmarked police car and then leaving the scene only compounded an already bad situation for a 25-year old city man.

About 2:50 Sunday morning, a vehicle was backing out of an angled parking stall in the 100 block of 12-A Street south when it collided with the rear of the occupied, unmarked police car that was parked beside it.

The offending vehicle left the scene but was pulled over by police in the 2800 block of 2nd Avenue North where the driver displayed signs of impairment. Earl Foxall was arrested and taken to the police station where he provided breath samples.  He faces numerous charges for impaired driving and leaving the scene of the collision.

Both vehicles in this incident received minor damage but, there were no injuries.
