Alberta Parks Provides Latest Camping Information

LETHBRIDGE - If you're heading out camping this weekend, be sure to check the Alberta Parks website to make sure your campsite is open.

The flooding in June and July forced some sites to close and washed out roads in certain areas.

Public Affairs Officer Erin Larson says Little Bow Provincial Park has now re-opened and Kananaskis Country is about 70 per cent open.

Larson adds you still need to be cautious and pay attention to any warning signs, especially if you're going hiking, since things may have changed on the trails due to flooding.
