LETHBRIDGE: If you're looking for a cheap place to buy a home -- you already live in the right spot.
Lethbridge ranks 5th, among the top 5 cheapest places in Canada to buy a
home. That's according to Yahoo Finance Canada.
Ranked in the top spot for the cheapest place to buy a home was Moncton, New
Brunswick ($157,124), followed by Windsor, Ontario ($174.396), then Saint John,
New Brunswick ($182,129) and Thunder Bay, Ontario ($199,642). Lethbridge, in the
5th spot, came in at an average of $239,000.
The figures came from the Canadian Real Estate Association's list of average
house prices in June.
By Comparison, Vancouver's average house price is $772,569 and Toronto came
in at $542,174.
