2013 Corn Maze Theme Depicts 100th Celebration For National Organization

LETHBRIDGE- You can once again get lost in the Lethbridge Corn Maze.

You can find it just north of Park Lake Provincial Park and it's open until October 26th. The site also offers a petting zoo, giant slide, hay rides and more.

There's a different layout to the maze each year and the theme this year is celebrating 100 years of 4-H in Canada. The design includes the 4-H clover, it says 100 years, and has the dates 1913 and 2013.

For the month of August, it's open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 10pm, with reduced hours in September and October.

As for how the maze is created, Owner Theo Slingerland says he comes up with a design on paper and then when the corn is still short in the spring, he cuts it out with a lawnmower and lets the rest of the corn grow.
