Three Men Charged in Fraud Case Ordered to Move Case Along

LETHBRIDGE: Rand Tyler Stevenson, Brent Ray Derricott and Robert Michael Smylski have been instructed by a Lethbridge judge to make some progress before their next court appearance.

The trio was charged back in March and have yet to take any real steps, with only one having retained a lawyer so far, as they face numerous charges of making misleading or untrue statements to investors and trading in certain securities without registration or a prospectus.

Smylski has an additional charge of breaching an Alberta Securities Commission order, which prohibited him from trading in Alberta because of a past incident.

The three return to court September 19th.
