Third Annual Blackfoot Arts and Heritage Festival Comes To Waterton

 
 

Waterton Lakes National Park: The Blackfoot Arts and Heritage festival is coming to Waterton August 20th to the 22nd.

 

Participants can learn to speak Blackfoot, make Moccasins, do beadwork try drumming, and take dance workshops at the Waterton Community Centre. Registration will be held each morning for the events will be held each morning at the Community Centre.

 

Armond Duck Chief and Friends will perform on August 20th at 7 PM at the Opera House. Jack Gladstone with Young Medicine will follow.

 

The highlight of the three days will be a pow wow on Thursday evening at 3:30 PM.
