LETHBRIDGE: Another candidate has entered the race for one of the eight city council positions that will go up for grabs this October.
Kerry Milder noted that she has an extensive work history, which she feels has done an excellent job of preparing her for a spot on council, "I believe I'm bringing a broad skill set to this candidacy and also a wealth of experience with regards to governance from my years as an elected school trustee, director for the Alberta School Boards Association, vice-chair for the regional health advisory council, and I'm also currently a senator for the University of Lethbridge."
Milder explained that she wants to be a part of helping local businesses develop and thrive, but added that her focus will be on Lethbridge residents, "I also have a vision that when people come to visit Lethbridge, they'll want to stay. My vision includes caring for the elderly and the most vunerable and supporting our families, as well as celebrating and encouraging our youth, and welcoming our new Canadians to the city."
The election is set for October 21st.
