LETHBRIDGE: Rory McKeown is a first-timer on the civic election ballot but believes he
has the skills to represent the residents of Lethbridge.
The 32-year old was born and raised in Lethbridge, graduated from CCH and
says he has always had an interest in politics. He wants to help Lethbridge
progress to where it needs to be as we continue to grow towards a population of
McKeown, who works as a logistics manager for Ad-Caddy Inc., a local firm
that deals with golf course advertising, states that he's, "of the age that
represents a significant portion of our community who contribute immensely but
also don t have a voice on council".
The potential Councillor has also spent the past five years on the Lethbridge
Rugby Club executive, including the past three as president. Issues he would to
bring to council, if elected, include a new feasibility study on the cost
effectiveness of curbside recycling, continued support of city projects that
promote athletics and the arts, and further encouragement of downtown
